Karen the strong warrior who originally was one of the four Knights of the Machine Empire. She discovers the truth of her "god" who is naturing a creature to destroy the world to save it. Karen is the original donor to the Bt pegasus named X. She flees to Kamui Island where she is saved and saves Teppei. Through a blood transfusion to save Teppei's life she accidently makes it possible for him to revive X. Karen also trains Teppei to protect his brother.
